Maruti Suzuki India has elevated Satish Mohapatra to the position of Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Corporate HR, effective April 1.
Satish has confirmed this development through a social media post stating, “Excited to share that yours truly is taking on a new role as ‘EVP & Head Business and Corporate HR’ at Maruti Suzuki India Limited effective 1st April 2024! Gratitude to each of my wonderful seniors, colleagues, and stakeholders at #marutisuzuki for their kind support over the last one year, and sincere thanks to all my friends out here for your blessings and best wishes!”

Before this elevation, Mohapatra served the organisation as Vice President and Head of Central HR.
Satish with over 16 years of professional experience, before joining Maruti in 2023, served Siemens, as Vice President and Head of People & Organisation (HR) for Smart Infrastructure, South Asia.
He has also worked with Atos, Siemens Technology India, Indian Oil Corporation, and Tata Communications (VSNL).
