What three most challenging areas would be for CHRO to succeed in 2024?

YB Amidst the political churn out Industry is trying to balance the FY 2023-24 targets delivery and FY 2024-25 budgets. In 2023, Generative AI, Chat GPT and allied technologies have proven beyond promise and expectations across industry sectors and operations and shall be top on most of the CEO’s agenda. HR has also duly acknowledged its need, significance, and challenges and is mulling over it as it enters 2024.

CHRO is a key stakeholder on the table and has a strategic role to play. Looking at 2024, I believe CHRO will have the following three priorities :

a) Enabling business growth through productivity and profitability – 2023-24 business results shall be the next 100 days focus for CEOs. FY 2023-24 Q4 will be the most active period to deliver on top line and bottom line. CEOs will bank on CHRO’s to enable stretched performance levels from employees at large through productivity.
