The government has appointed Uttam Lal as Director (Personnel) at state-run hydropower company NHPC Ltd.
Prior to his appointment at NHPC, Lal was serving as Chief General Manager (HR-CSR/R&R/LA) at NTPC Limited.

Lal, a law Graduate also holds a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XISS.
