Most employees do not always voice their frustrations. It is HR's job to spot those insecurities before they get overwhelming and organisation starts losing human capital.

How do you describe the workplace frustration and what can be the causes and manifestations of such frustration?

AK Frustrationarises when there is a mismatch of expectations, assumptions, and interpretations. Frustration manifests asprocrastination, indifference, lack of initiative, negligence, lack of respect, outright aggression, disruption, lack of commitment, poor deliverables.

According to research, some of the most common causes of frustration at work include an ineffective manager (74%), excessive workloads and deadlines (60%), poor communication and limited visibility of team members’ work (57%) and poor access to resources or information needed to complete work (37%). Ultimately, frustration will result in low productivity, poor organisational culture, breakdown in team spirit, and even poor customer management.
