The pandemic accelerated our digital journey. Trends like working from home, virtual connection, and communication - MS Teams and Zoom calls daily/weekly were quite productive and to the point.

Do you feel that business leaders and HR’s focus is now back on people? What are the possible reasons for change in this paradigm shift?

VP- Yes, the focus has shifted to People and reinforces the philosophy of “People First”. I am a firm believer that it is the people’s strength which drives the benefits arising out of use of Technology. The advent of the corona virus pandemic has created unimaginable upheaval across the world. This has been a challenge for all business organisations more specifically it created a new agenda for HR. Amidst all this, Business leaders and HR are jointly playing a critical role in driving business and catalysing changes to help adapt to this situation. HR once again got the challenge to prove its worth by creating a mindset change across the organisation.

A major intervention in tackling such situations is to promote people centric culture.
