The year passed by after covid pandemic has given us the learning that HR function in business has to be ready to meet all unexpected and put an umbrella on organisation and its people to save them from any untoward happening.

Be it the quite quitting, hybrid working model, talent crunch, mental wellbeing-on all fronts, these have compelled business and HR leaders to dive deep to find out how to make it more compatible to business needs. On employee front, mass layoff has been a dark spot on organisations’ credibility and sustainability.

In this back drop, HR focus in 2023 may be on consolidating the fragmented work force, devising innovative ways to manage talent through retention strategies, employee experience and engagement. Embracing HR technology and up-skilling HR team to make optimum use may be other point of focus for HR in coming year.
