Why the element of empathy has gained importance in the workplace post covid phase and how it impacts the work culture?

TM Empathy post Covid is the least corporates can do considering the scars that Covid has left behind and hopefully with the vaccine will see the end soon. Think of the agility and the short learning curve that employees have undertaken to hold fort for their respective organisations, the pain that they have undergone to see their colleagues go, of having to cope with business pressures, fending for oneself and family financially, emotionally and physically. Trying to be safe all the time, coping with illness and deaths. Employees have been mentally strained because of the lockdown and some of the unfortunate ones who have lost a relative to the pandemic need understanding and people to hear them and be patient with them. The culture across organisations is about understanding the need of the hour and rising up to it together as a team.
