Push wellness program through actions
Talking only about employee wellness by leaders is not going to deliver anymore. It should move towards actionable design and bring down the initiatives on ground to make feel employee that it makes their worklife better.

While employee wellness is getting priority in Organisations, bullying as its counter is also prevalent. How do you define these two aspects and its presence in work culture?

MS The real eye-opener to employee wellbeing dawned as the Pandemic claimed lives of many of our loved ones, colleagues, neighbours and knowns. The statistics on employee wellbeing are unprecedented where more than 70% of the companies introduced and put budgets aside for mental wellness and stress management programmes, insurance, paid time-off, and home relocation assistance, among others as suggested by research done by HR solutions company Aon.

Many leading Indian and Multinational companies led the employee wellness programs which grew corporate wellness market in India ata compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of ~5.75 % during the 2020- 2023 and is expected to grow at the same rate till 2025 achieving a staggering INR 21.53 Bn by 2025 as compared to INR 14.59 Bn in 2019.
