Managers must not keep the human connect aside in tech thunder
High touch moments are going to be more and more important because they are at the core of what makes us human. Human-human connection can never be replaced entirely by technology.

Do you think that Business Organisations now look for certain new competencies for managers? If so, what is your perspective in this respect?

SL Future-ready managers have skills that are different from organisations in the past. Here are three critical shifts underway.

1. Being able to work well with others has become far more important than ever before. More and more organisations are realizing that jerks really make everyone’s life difficult and, in the end, make it much harder to achieve organisation goals.

2. Technology is tomorrow going to be at the core of everything we do. So professionals who understand how to use technology within their fields are at a big advantage.

3. Since the changes that are coming at us with the fourth industrial revolution are several, managers and leaders who function well within high levels of ambiguity are and will be prized greatly.
