Employee Emotional Health Needs to be Prioritised
No one size suits all and many of the Indian organisations are at the moment far from experimentation of new work cultures. It's important to design customised systems to balance digital conveniences.

How do you envision Humanising the workplace?

NV “Human intelligence” is the only ingredient one can envision for humanising the workplace. To enhance individual and group level human processes at the systemic level will be the way forward to enhance the same. Focusing on developing human intelligence can be the game changer. “Humane” the word means showing compassion, being kind hearted and sensitive to others. How can we create systems to resonate these aspects will be the focus. It has been more than two decades that the focus has been on developing systems, technology and processes, the new era will focus on culture. Humanistic efforts need no complex interventions, only basic understanding of human needs and the art of creating systems which enable human effectiveness. Inclusive culture, focus on systems that enhance collaboration, individual’s competence enhancement efforts, recognition practices that are more individualistic and personalised will help in humanising workplaces.
