When Diversity is embraced by Business heads, it is Business that has shown HR or people orientation.

Diversity and Leadership are not entirely new areas, while their link continues to remain in its fledging stages as yet, particularly in India. Globally, it seems there are several leaders who have been able to leverage people from various backgrounds to build sustainable businesses and organization cultures worth emulating. In the past several years, we have seen how there are several viewpoints and articles on how HR needs to have business orientation. However, when Diversity is embraced by Business heads, we know that it is Business that has shown HR or people orientation. There are several approaches that leaders use to build inclusive cultures and a lot of this stems from their belief and work value systems. By of this article I am not planning to share those approaches or what is a best practice. My endeavour is to start at the basics or core elements...
