How do you visualize the future of HR in Indian as well as global context?

CC The global business environment is experiencing unprecedented change, and human resources (HR) should develop new capabilities if it wants to remain relevant. We also need to understand that globalization is not something that just applies at the business strategy level. Functions like HR, information technology (IT), finance, procurement, and legal, are key to building the global infrastructure and foundation required to achieve this business objective. However, the need for diverse, mobile and skilled talent pool is going to be on the top of organisation global agenda, so I see HR on the forefront of the globalization mandate.

Looking ahead, businesses will be requiring HR competencies and capability that do not just support the business strategy – but enable it. So, HR function has a huge responsibility of transforming themselves as enablers which means we need to develop new recruitment models that fit a modern workforce, build and managing...
