What future do you envision for the performance management process in organisations? How use of technology is going to change/revamp it?

MN Performance will no longer be something that has to be managed, but instead monitored continuously to address any concerns then and there instead of accumulating issues/concerns and discussing them once a year. Regular open forums will be made available wherein both the manager & the employee can connect at regular intervals and address any underlying concerns and also set expectations going ahead.

As the number of gig and remote workers increasing, what challenges do you foresee in managing their performance, and how to address them?

MN Performance management of remote workers will continue to be a bigger challenge due to visibility issues. The criteria for remote working employees will have to be defined differently from what it is for employees in the office. Focus should be more on task completion within TAT, rather than timely logging in/out. And...
