The collarless workforce has now substantial employment and autonomy but insecurity and no guarantees for the future dog their employment. This kaleidoscope colour of the collars is one of the transforming relationship dimensions and managing them well is a key to the sector's success in the market place.

What reasons do you to attribute to the fact that Industrial relation skills which was considered as one of the most desired and pre requisite skill for any HR person to succeed, has now become almost extinct?

RK Industrial Relations are the relationship skills that are geared to the working in an industry and working in organisations require an understanding of organisational behaviour. Managing Individuals in an organisation is a very demanding skill as a person can become a member of the organisation or industry only through his skill set of specific competencies. Sometimes, the industry puts a premium on such skills and the persons possessing such skills become invaluable and managing them and how they impact others becomes a major concern. For example, you have a very highly skilled welder and he performs key jobs for the organisation.
