The name Udai signifies the rising sun, a symbol of positivity, hope, energy, light, and well-being for all living beings. Dr. Udai Pareek truly embodied the essence of his name. His contributions to the field of HR and organizational development are not just influential but will continue to guide generations to come. As an architect of the HR function in India, a globally renowned psychologist, a visionary institution builder, and, above all, a noble soul, his impact is immeasurable. Though it is impossible to encapsulate his vast contributions in a single note, this is a humble attempt to honour his legacy by sharing my invaluable learnings from his books, institutions, and personal interactions with him.
