While designing the Human Resource System at Larsen & Toubro, Udai Pareek, along with T V Rao formulated 14 principles behind the designing. These are largely conceptualised by Dr. Pareek in 1977. These are reproduced below, and they are still valid even today. HR is seeing a sea change, but almost 50 years back, Dr Udai Pareek has assigned HR a great role.
