Komaladevi Velumani has taken up a new role as HR Leader-North America, SSG ISO at Lenovo.
Confirming this development through a social media post, she said, “I’m humbled and excited to step into my new role as HR Leader for North America, SSG ISO at Lenovo, based in Dallas, Texas.”
As she moves into North America, one of Lenovo’s most strategic markets, in her new role, her focus is to enable sales transformation through the right structures, skills & leadership, accelerate growth by aligning workforce strategy with opportunity, and strengthen future-ready HR capabilities in a world where technology and humanity must grow together.

Before this appointment, Komaladevi was associated with Lenovo as HR Leader-Asia Pacific SSG ISO. In APAC, she had the privilege of leading HR for Lenovo’s SSG business, shaping workforce strategy, driving transformation, and fostering cultural alignment across diverse markets. The biggest lesson – That people-first strategies are the real engine of business transformation.
With more than 18 years of experience in leading HR functions across IT/ITES, engineering, management consulting, and technology industries, Komaladevi’s core competencies include HR consulting, case management, HR policies, performance management, and employee/labour relations. She is passionate about creating a culture of excellence and innovation and empowering people to achieve their full potential.
She leveraged her expertise in Human Resources Management and administration to align HR initiatives with business goals and vision.
She has also worked with Deloitte, Honeywell Technology, IBM, and Mahindra & Mahindra.
