Aarti Kapoor Joins McDonald’s GCC as Director of HR Operations and Service Delivery

Aarti Kapoor has joined McDonald’s GCC as Director of HR Operations and Service Delivery.

Confirming this development, Aarti in a social media post said, “ Embarking on a New Chapter: Building the People Experience at McDonald’s Global Capability Center India!

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that this June, I’ve joined McDonald’s Global Capability Center (GCC) as the Director of HR Operations and Service Delivery. This marks the beginning of an incredibly exciting new chapter!

It’s both an honor and a profound responsibility to be the first member of the McDonald’s People Experience team in India. Being entrusted with the opportunity to shape the future from the ground up is a milestone I embrace with immense pride and dedication.

At McDonald’s—a brand synonymous with connection, service, and global impact—I’m inspired by the opportunity to reimagine how we deliver exceptional employee experiences at scale. Our mission is to foster a culture where every employee feels empowered, valued, and fully equipped to drive innovation and great experience.

Before this appointment, Aarti was associated with Adani Group as Vice President- People Enablement & Service Delivery.

With over two decades of experience in HR operations and shared services,  in her new role, she will be empowering organizations to navigate ambiguity, elevate employee experiences, and fuel sustainable business growth.

Her passion lies in turning complex challenges into streamlined processes, fostering high-performing teams, and creating workplaces where diversity and inclusion are catalysts for success.

In her career span, as Global Service Delivery Hub Leader at Amazon, she, along with her team, transformed the HR Operations and service delivery by strategically embracing digitization and integrating AI-powered solutions into our HR operations to create more efficient, data-driven, and employee-centric processes.

Aarti  also spearheaded critical organization-wide or large-scale initiatives focused on enhancing HR Services, fostering Diversity and Inclusion, supporting Persons with Disabilities, and strengthening Employer Branding.

Her commitment to these areas as an active member of Women in Leadership, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, and Persons with Disabilities forums has been a driving force behind many local and geo-agnostic diversity initiatives.

She has also worked with  Amazon Development Center India, PepsiCo and Amex(American Express) among others.

Aarti Holds Six Sigma Black Belt certification and an Executive HR Management Program from IIM Indore.
