UFlex plans to hire 400 in the next six months
Previously known as Flex Industries, UFlex, a flexible packaging company based in India is looking to add over 400 new members to its current team in the period of six months. The company aims to hire a mix of local and non local employees across the global market in the context of its expansion plan.
President-HR of UFlex, Chandan Chattaraj in a statement made to Economic Times, said – “One of the crucial factors to revive the economy globally is to generate more job opportunities. When most companies are either downsizing or halting their recruitment plans due to pandemic’s aftermath, UFlex hasn’t let the unforeseen situation derail its global expansion plan, and has gone on to hire more people”
Mr Chattaraj also emphasized the importance to strengthen the workforce and machinery to meet the changing demand in the pandemic era. The company has already hired more than 120 new employees in the current fiscal year. Apart from hiring, UFlex is undertaking various measures and adhering to social distancing norms in order to prevent any spread of the Covid-19 infection
UFlex is also set to open new plants in Nigeria, Hungary and Russia while adding a plant in Poland. Presently the company has its arms in 140 countries across the globe. UFlex provides its packaging and material solution to various companies such as Heinz, Godrej, Henkrl, ITC, Pepsi, Nestle, Unilever Group and Tata Chemicals.
