What inspired you to join HR profession?

SS I chose HR simply because of my people skills and the passion within me. I have always been very good at communicating, networking, listening to people’s problems and coming up with solutions to help them. HR being the chariot of the organisation, it plays a key role in connecting the value of human capital to the goals of the company. HR has to deal with people from various backgrounds, level of experience and skills on a day-to-day basis. It is not wrong to say that a business is as good as its employees and being an HR lets you influence many aspects of the business starting from acquisition of talent and its development to participating in strategic decisions. You get to work with many kinds of people. There is never one rule for HR activities. Each time, it requires new strategies, technologies and skills that you must improve upon.
