HR News concluded the Global Conference on HR, L&D and education

Lucky Daftuar, the Pioneer & Founder of a highly reputed trainer's platform, has the vision to organize the training industry. Her goal is to bring together great minds from different and varied but closely related sectors like HR, Training, Management Teaching, OD and Education sector on a single platform where experts can come together and exchange their ideas for a better management world.

Through her trainer's platform,, she organizes global conferences and provides avenues to experts from these industries to share their knowledge and wisdom with the learners as well as different experts and academicians.

On 27th Feb 2021, successfully conducted their '3rd Global HR, L&D and Education Conference' over a virtual platform.

The conference was honoured by the presence of and active participation by a large assembly of esteemed professionals from corporates and academia.

The overall focus of the conference was on 'Growth and Effectiveness - during and after the COVID-19.

The chief guest for the event was Dr. Kamlesh Misra (Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Rishihood University, Sonipat). Dr. Misra is a Thought Leader and speaker on the formulation and implementation of corporate strategies, knowledge and innovation management. He has rich experiences in creating, running and transforming institutions. He has a special interest in 'Turnaround' and 'Greenfield Projects' in the area of higher education. He initiated the session with thoughts on the current trends of remote working and the impact on the management challenges. This gave a great start to the event and set the right tone towards the theme of the conference.

The Guest of honour was Prof. Chittranjan N. Daftuar, D.Litt. Dr. Chittranjan (well-known psychologist and the recipient of the prestigious title 'Man of Year' Award - 1997 by the ABI, USA for his unique contribution to the Indian Leadership theory and has been repeatedly quoted in Marquis' eminent lists of 'WHO'S-WHO' among world eminent scholars). He shared his views on the psychological impact of Covid-19 and chaired a panel discussion on 'Covid-19 and Employee Wellness.'

The conference attendees witnessed a series of highly informative and engaging speech by eminent and well-known professionals from the HR, L&D, General Management and Education sectors.

Three major themes that kept everyone completely engrossed in learning and exchange of thoughts and ideas were :

Theme 1 : Virtual is Real : Challenges and Dilemma of Today's Leaders

The first speaker under this theme was, Mr. Gyanendra Kumar (HOD - HR), TCS-CBO. Mr. Gyanendra spoke on HR 2.0 in the new normal. He shared about the factors like skill dynamics, employee value prepositions, culture and resilience of the organisation, that emerged as very important factors during this crisis time.

The second speech was delivered by Ms. Bhairavi Buch Sonowal (CEO - HED Healthcare, Partner - Biodiversity Foundation) on the topic, 'Authentic Leadership : Role of leaders in growth and people engagement'. Ms. Bhairavi's shared the elements of authentic leadership and how these elements became a strong backbone for organisations during COVID-19.

The third speech was delivered by Mr. Rajeev Jain (NASSCOM Certified Master Trainer, Author, and Agile Coach at WIPRO) on, 'The expectations of corporate leaders from academia' which was followed by a panel discussion on the same topic. The panel discussion was chaired by Ms. Anjali Khanna (VP-HR, Jaipuria Group of Institutions) who moderated the discussion very well and also shared her extensive experience around the topic.

Theme 2 : The Evolution of Training and Education

This theme was initiated by Ms. Lucky Daftuar (Author, Speaker, Trainer, Senior HR, OD and L&D Professional and the Founder of Her speech on 'Turbulence in the L&D space' provoked lively discussion among the eminent participants.

The second talk under this theme was delivered by Mr. Bhoopendra Singh (Co-founder - i2TB) on the topic of AI/ML and VR in L&d/Education: Personalization and Customization of Learning. He shared how AI/ML is being useful in the L&D and education sector.

This theme was well concluded by Dr. Chinmoy A Vajpeyee (Head L&D, Adarsh Credit) who in his engaging and very informative speech on 'Wake up and smell the coffee - training evaluation concepts' made the audience better aware of the subject.

Theme 3 : Changing Trends and Employee Wellness

Bringing Workplace Psychological safety : A three-step approach was beautifully presented by Mr. Rajeev Jain (NASSCOM Certified Master Trainer, Author, and Agile Coach at WIPRO). He touched upon the key factors that can build psychological safety within teams.

The last presentation of the conference was on an interesting theme called 'Is happiness a choice?' which was delivered by Mr. Pradeep Cherurath (Happiness Coach).
