How do you visualize the future of HR in the Indian as well as global context?
AS The future of HR is difficult to pen down as it will be as vast as our imaginations. People have evolved as the core; businesses exist with, through, and for them. HR will hold the responsibility to not only manage, develop and retain people but will also be responsible for being a connector/enabler for everything associated. HR’s role was to take care of people analytics, and today we see that be it data or business, HR relevance can’t go unnoticed. They have become people’s voices and masters of numbers in all strategic decision-making processes. From a return on investment (ROI) to a Return on Expectation and Engagement (ROE) has to be the strategic field of execution for HR. HR of the future will have a more substantial role in defining the Dos and don’ts of working with people through processes.
