While HR manages the hiring freeze, layoffs, online learning solutions, it is extremely important to not lose sight on building psychological safety for remote orkers/teams and employee experience - managing employees anxiety, motivation, engagement and well-being that impacts their productivity.

Challenges would be mostly related to productivity, lack of time management, remote connectivity issues and most importantly confidentiality issues. HR would have to step in to train employees in remote etiquettes, time management and most importantly communication.

WFH is a reality. The authors observations should not be read like a red herring prospectus against WFH. The policy makers, corporate honchos and social leaders must see and invest to mitigate the flipside.
