I had known Prof. Udai Pareek through his work and contributions in the academic world during my doctoral studies. He was an enigma of great repute.
However, I experienced him as a person very closely, much later, during my ISABS journey. He had already spent his long innings with IIMA as senior professor and advisor to several top organisations. His humble way of reaching group work with clarity and conviction impacted me the most.
His rigor on group dynamics and leadership process was inspiring. I had a chance to work together on a few leadership learning programmes in ISABS and, even beyond that, on few OD interventions.
He was just incredible as a facilitator, motivator, and trainer. His enabling mode has impacted the growth of ISABS as an organisations. A large number of today’s veterans have been trained by him in their professional growth journey.
