Knew Udai for 44 years but never got to work with him even once. When he gave me a copy of “Training for Development” I asked him to write my name. He wrote “to dear Ramesh with hopes of working together some day”. This was humility defined. During 1987-1990 when he was the first President of ISABS (before him, the nomenclature was Executive Director) he invited several professionals to become ISABS’ professional Members. I miss his presence in the ISABS. He was a doyen, a true guru and great researcher. May God continue to bless his soul.
